Tunneling with TBMs or Pipe jacking is a special construction method for precise installation or replacement of underground water mains, sewers and utility lines, or large diameter water ways or service tunnels with diameters ranging from 350 mm to 4,500mm. Larger diameters of upto 15m can be reached with TBMs for large infrastructure projects and other tunnelling methods integrated depending on the geology, the technical and projects feasibility.
